Our inspirations come from the people around us and the saints that
walked before us. Mother Teresa, John Wesley and Jesus Christ are just a
few!
Kitchen on the Street and its volunteers are interested in seeing the
lives of Arizona residents improved.
Heroes
Our heroes are ordinary people that do extraordinary things. People
like Reverend Dennis Cagle who shared this need with us, planted a seed in
our hearts/minds to help these families in need. People like Kalen Brown/Shayde Sanderson
that donate food, help pack bags, and deliver the bags to schools. Please
consider joining with us in spreading the word on this need and finding
donations of food and funds to meet these needs. You too can be a hero.
About me: Kitchen on the Street is a 501c3 non profit organization with a mission to
improve the lives of Arizona families. KOS has partnered with Arizona
schools in an attempt to stamp out hunger in school children. KOS provides
bags of hope (backpacks of food) to schools to distribute to children in
need. Many Arizona school children qualify for free/reduced breakfast and
lunch through the schools. For many of these children, the school meals are
the only food they receive! KOS provides snacks, dinners, breakfasts and
lunches for these children to eat outside of school. Our hope is that if
these children are properly feed, they can concentrate on learning and if
they secure a good education, they can break the cycle of poverty for future
generations!
