Yeah, Its cheeky... But I don't care! I made a wishlist!

I'm the webmistress for ripagans.com, a website for the Rhode Island Pagan community... ..
I love to read, to draw, to cook, to bake, to sew, to attempt to garden (I'm actually GROWING things!!! Beautiful, healthy things!) to play with my children... I love to write in my blog... I am a myspace whore. I admit it.
And zombies. I am zombie crazed. I admit to that as well.
My newest hobby is making Goddess Dolls:

They are really cute! And every one is different... I also take custom orders. I have a website now...

Its just a hobby that pays for itself right now, and I enjoy making them for people...
It makes me smile when I see a little one holding one of my dolls, or I see them in a place of honor in a friend's home...

I'm also an advocate of babywearing and breastfeeding...

In my car, I usually leave it on the country radio channel, but I also like celtic music (like Emerald Rose)

And of course, lots and lots more...
And on a scary note, due to my son's love of the Wiggles, I know all those songs and dances by heart as well! Sad isn't it? ..
Movies
My all time favorites include: The Princess Bride:

Grease, Harold and Maude, The Crow, Crybaby, Drop Dead Fred... Of course, Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill DVD... I know it word for word...

I watched the new version of Dawn of the Dead in February 2005 and now I am obsessed with zombie movies. Since then I've seen every one I could get my hands on.

I was a Buffy fanatic... Still am, if truth be told...
I love The 4400, Monk, The Dead Zone, Hex, Top Chef, Project Runway, anything on BBC America... Any of the celebrity crap on VH1... And everything on the food network! ..
Books
Anything by Dean Koontz. If I lived in California I would stalk him. I also love Laurell K. Hamilton, Mary Janice Davidson, Stephen King, Terry Brooks, Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, Angela Knight... Hell, I am a big fan of horror, suspense, witchy romance and thriller-type books in general...
Ooh!
And the Zombie Survival Guide is a total must-have!

About me:

I am a kitchen witch.
Kitchen witchery is about hearth and home. It deals with the everyday magick involved in caring for your loved ones. The magick in making a home, in keeping your family healthy and safe. Making yummy food, baking, crafting, that sort of thing. It involves herbal lore. Knowing what is used for what. My Goddess has a name, but I don't often share it. In our house we refer to her as Goddess, or Lady, and I revere her.
I'm a stay at home, homeschooling, witchy momma who has worn various granola-mom badges proudly: babywearing, clothdiapering, co-sleeping, and breastfeeding to name a few. I have three children, Hannah (born Dec 1997) Patrick (born June 2004) and Willow (born June 2006). I'm married to James, who was born in Tulsa, Ok and grew up in England. We were married by a J.P. and then handfasted Mabon 2002. We homeschool. We think its the best way to raise our children, and this way we get to spend a lot of time together. ..
