Local arts website www.tampabaymuse.com is proud to announce the release of the benefit cd, “Stand Up”, featuring over a hour of music and 14 local indy/alternative rock bands (and one from London too). All proceeds from the sale of the CD go directly to the local branch of non-profit charity, StandUp for Kids, www.standupforkids.org. An estimated 1.3 - 2.8 million youth are living on the streets each day. Five thousand die each year, or 13 each day, as a result of assault, illness or suicide. STANDUP FOR KIDS is a nonprofit volunteer organization whose mission is to provide crisis intervention and basic survival necessities for at-risk and homeless youth through national and local outreach.
