About me: Kiteboarding videos. I am a filmmaker who has made movies in Hollywood, mostly action, martial arts and sci-Fi stuff. You may have seen some of them like ScannerCop or a fatal attraction type thriller called Malicious which starred Pretty in Pink's, Molly Ringwald. I also wrote an action movie starring Sylvester Stallone's ex-wife and model, Brigitte Nielson.
What is KiteFLix? About 8 years ago I was in Florida when a surfer suddenly flew 20 feet over my head and I realized that he was attached to a giant kite. The sport is called kitesurfing and/or kiteboarding and i became obsessed with it because i think it is the coolest thing i ever saw. It is a cross between surfing and wakeboarding. Windsurfing without the heavy board and mast. Waterskiing without the boat. A large kite powers you over the water (or snow or land) 30 feet into the air with long hang time and then float down like a feather for your landing. With this sport, man truly can fly. And you can kite when the surf is blown out and too windy to do anything else. It is a clean, quiet wind-powered sport that relys on no fuel other than the wind so it is eco-friendly.
Remember how cool it was when you were a kid and flew your first kite? Multiply that feeling times a million.
