Hey there! My name is Joshua -- it's very biblical. A bitter irony, me not being religious and all, is when people call me a Jew (not only because of my devout atheist status, but also because I look like quite the skin-head at the moment). I was bore into communist Cuba (The biggest and most isolated country in the Caribbean). With that said, being brought up with the ideological theories of Karl Marx's chronological chronologies has made me in to the American-hating, hipster-despising, nationalist that I am at the moment. I love movies of old fashioned by noir-stylized grittiness with all the cheesy character attendance that those movies usually have. I am also a big history buff and can basically tell you what the slavs where doing during the 8th-9th centuries to how Cuba differed before the rebellion. I am a very nice person who will help walk the elder and carry bags for mothers. I am NOT nice because I want to be but cause of my natural pussyish nature -- not all Cubans and Easter Europeans are bad! I can get off to the JFK assassination video because of the past social digressions he's put on my people. He is one of MANY people I hold responsible for the end of the world! I don't want to sound like "OH, I HATE AMERICA SO MUCH! I JUST CAN'T STAND LIVING HERE!". That's not who I am, I'm much more condescending in a discreet way. Also, I'm not one to hold grudges [except for America] so don't be surprised if I don't remember you insulting me (I probably forgot). Hope you have had as much fun [vaguely] reading about me as much as I [did not] enjoy writing it.

My preferred vernacular is English, though I do speak Spanish(can't write it) and a hint of Russian/Ukrainian(can write it). I suppose the predominant reason for why I write on this thing is because only one or two people actually read my stuff. With that pretentious reasoning, it's cooler knowing that I'm writing for one person -- especially that one person. I DO listen to podcasts, mostly video game related podcasts. My hobbies include enjoying the company of [PC] games, modding my computers (I'm currently waiting for my new CPU cooler to come in), working on my super secret show, hanging out with friends and that sole person who talks to me on here. Since I am trying to be utterly truthful here, I may as well just mention that I am a jerk to a lot of people I know. I'm not an opportunist, but I guess I have very cynical sarcasm that not a lot of people understand. I am very OCDish when it comes to writing, video games, and reading. If I'm not a perfectionist, that word does not exist. So yeah, KeepItMetal

This seems like a good run for me, especially me. One thing in particular about me that I find interesting is the easy loss of interest I can give many things. If I am not completely dedicated to one particular thing, I will most likely lose any interest I had in that thing -- one major reason for my myriad of "unfinished" drawings/sketches(painting is for pussies and poets). When I read a book, like mentioned before hand, if I find something that looks of more interest to me I will put down my current readings and not finish either of them. People say I look peculiar(nice way of saying "ugly" I suppose). Me? I can care less. I've always gone through the processes of ..To Each His Own.. with everything I put on or anything I say. I know I look like a Ukrainian brick mason, what's it to you? Also, I'm not a person who pre-exposes himself for the music he listens to. Music titles are culminations of trends and fads that usually die out, one of the reasons why music is so distinctive in the memory process -- I still remember the sounds of my first kiss with my very first girlfriend. Everything written here is of my opinion, of course. Woot!

I wouldn't call my self a know-it-all for movies and its industry, but I do know what I enjoy and have scene enough "Behind the Scenes" to ponder on the movie-making process. My favorite directors include David Cronenberg(..Eastern Promises..)and Quentin Tarantino(..Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs..). And I can go on in an awesome discussion on why Pulp Fiction is one of the best movies ever made! But. Other than my nerdy movie habits, I also enjoy nerdy TV! Star Trek and The Next Generation are about my two favorite television shows! And also one of the reasons why I don't watch much tele at the moment(both those TV shows are 30+ years old).
