Writer, Performer, Producer and Muse: “the Doyenne of Feline Femininity”.

Charmed by Curiosity, Kittie  is  a thoughtful little adventuress at large in the avant-garde(n). An elegant eccentric, she is a bon vivant of burlesque and erudite explorer of the peculiar. A natural beauty, wit and charmer she is a most alluring entertainer and entrepreneuse.

A bel(le) esprit (and pundit of puns),  she is a quirky Writer of  flowing prose,  whimsical philosophy and satirical sketches - often noted for her epigrammatical flair and aphorisms. She is an Impresario with a passion for ‘historical chic’ and  a knack for ‘visual puns’  - producing innovative sell-out shows, winning critical acclaim. Having achieved laudable notoriety* (quite by accident of course) as a Performer and Muse of considerable derring-do, she holds international status and can be induced to make a  Spectacle of herself for a shilling or two.

From her unconventional academic background in parapsychology (and her formal experience as a paranormal investigator) to her startling model portfolio, her being lauded a ‘major force’ in the British burlesque renaissance, as founder of the notorious Ministry of Burlesque and as the veritable ‘Captain’ of the   British genre itself - she pursues the curious and forgotten with an alluring sense of perspective, aesthetics, contrast & humour.

Kittie’s unfolding portfolio plays host to poignant characters who proffer original material in both the written and performance mediums. Here, they each deliver imagined insights from their own particular points of view. In fact, ‘Kittie’ - the name itself  - is simply a sobriquet which has stuck. Endearing, astute and with her ‘contemporary anachronistic’ style she is a popular pen and personality among ladies and gentlemen of Society, press and media alike and is also  a sought after consultant for those seeking to refine their work, methods and public image.

A model of impropriety and a muse of mirth,  she is perhaps something of a composite curiosity herself?
