Kitty Bevan perform in a number of guises - the most poopular duo features Kitty with Rob Haddon on guitars. This is a beautiful, laid back set which is often used for smaller gigs and functions.
Kitty Bevan Quintet features John Morton and his fantashtic moustache on bass, the wonderful Mr Greg Evans on drums, the delectable Dave Jones on piano and Rob Haddon/guitars or trumpeter/flugelhorn Ben Thomas. Kitty Bevan work in various formats including:
Duos with guitar or piano, plus KB on sax and vocals;
JAJUKI - Trio featuring Julian Martin on djembe, accordion, keys plus James on guitar - please see www.myspace.com/JAJUKI
KB QUARTET - different lineups of musicians, according to gig and venues/dates.
KB QUINTET - same kinda thing, with an added soloist.
FAB 40's SWING ORCHESTRA - big band performing hits of Glenn Miller and other classic sounds of the 30's/40's/II world war era.
Also work as a solo saxophonist/vocalist, for studio demos etc for other bands, including festival work.
KITTy BEvAN's JaZz JaM - jazz events for beginners, a place where learners are encouraged to participate and perform some easy jazz numbers with a band. Next scheduled jazz jam is at Pontypool Jazz Festival in September.
