I do stand up comedy / cabaret and burlesque performance.
I wasn't the class clown...I was the class acrobat starting my career as a fire dancer in 1997..I got into comedy as it required no training or qualifications and I figured...I can do that. I also write plays, books, newsletters and all the material I wear.
I promise the world and always over deliver and really have a way with words........while others...you know...ummm...thingy.
Have performed at the London Comedy Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival, Woodford Folk Festival and some seedy place in the Valley.
I am the only comedian to be immortalized in Lego, am nicknamed Wooly and am part of the Neo-Burlesque movement having trained with Lola The Vamp & Lena Marlene- Scoundrelles, have performed with La Lola Salon, Miss Bertie's Berlin Cabaret, The Rag Tag Review - Undead Burlesque and many more. Burlesque is like comedy with better costumes and vintage lingerie...and I still play with fire!
As Burlesque Star Miss Kitty Conquest I consider myself part Marilyn Monroe, part Gypsy Rose and part Rammstien! Enhanced by the spirit of performance and a love for creativity. I see Burlesque as a baptism of feeling, which empowers the audience with happiness and sensuality, especially the ladies.
In 2008 I returned to France to perform Burlesque in Paris - Dr Sketchys with Burlesque Boulevarde and to work with French muscians Loris (Ivalys) and Spiky (French Composor - Marseille) . I shall be back there in 2009, Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Arles.
