  • General

    Vegas, buying and selling utter junk (what we like to refer to as antiques) on eBay and at flea markets. Antique auctions in Utah are a definite favorite. Picking my nose while watching reruns of Roseanne on TiVo, and notarizing peoples foreheads has become my latest pasttime.

  • Music

    Anything that makes Josh call me a dork is my favorite. However, I do love Soul Coughing, Billy Joel, Brazzaville, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, 80s punk, Fleetwood Mac, The Clash, Josiah, Longway, The Ziggens... the list would never end! Oh, and a little Snoop Dogg and Warren G never hurt no one!

  • Movies

    Oh man, do I have to? Okay... Definitely gotta shout Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Friday, Amilie, all Pippi Longstocking films (but only the original Swedish ones), Requim for a Dream, and gotta give a shout to SpaceCamp...seriously. Oh, and no, I don't do drugs.

About me:

I guess I can sum it up with that old license plate holder "To Know Me is to Love Me". I used to think that it meant something obscene when I was a kid, but it's honestly the best way to describe me. I can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. I'm kind, but I'm crabby; I'm warm, but I can be cold; I'm a cheap bastard, but definitely enjoy the finer things in life. I love being an insurance agent, but the statistical and actuarial side of the insurance industry pisses me off. I'm political, but I dislike politics; I'm a wife,a mommy, a daughter, a sister, an auntie, a best friend, and a daughter-in-law, but at times, I feel like a nobody. Sometimes I like to be alone, but when I am, I miss the company of others. I'm dazed, confused, and content all at the same time. I love life, but find it very hard to understand. I am learning to live in the now, but am trying really hard to plan the future. I throw things away when they could be a treasure to someone else. I want to finish school, but school bores me. I'm Italian, Russian, and Welsh and it shows in my personality. I sell on eBay, but am leary to buy. I love my family, but on occasion, I would like to blow them away. I can sell ice to an eskimo, but am always skeptical of salespeople. I can be happy, and sad, and angry all in the same day. Catch me on a good day, and I'm great to be around; catch me on a bad one, and you'll wish you never knew me. I value my friends, and work on my friendships. I am conservative, liberal, and independent depending on the situation. I am what I am, so you can take it or leave it...it's all up to you. What I do know, is that my son has made my world a whole lot brighter :)

    i dont know why she isnt talking to me. i sent her several texts and messages on myspace. she only responded to one saying there was nothing wrong. she was just busy. this was back in jan. so its a safe bet she wrote me off for someting.

    How exciting!!! I hope you all have a safe trip, and get settled quickly. I know how it is, we will be doing the same thing in less than 3 months now. And I am headed to Germany 2 times before we leave, once for medical stuff and once for work stuff. Well, call us when you can, we miss you all tons.     i moved out of long beach 3+ years ago when ryan and i split up. in december i moved to canyon country.
    no bri didnt tell me you were moving. she stopped talking to me after i house sat for her in december. lily is doing great. she's got a big attitude that one.
