*******WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET: a 152cms red-headed gal - ONE VOICE, ONE GUITAR*******
Kitty Reed plays and sings.
Three chords and the truth.
That..s country-music in its essence as Harlan Howard once said. Kitty is a country-gal in tradition of the "good ole times" when women picked up a guitar quite naturally to state their lives: unfaithfulness, broken hearts, drunken husbands, female rivals, homesickness and other important topics of their hillbilly-world. For her it is not about showing perfect skills on her beautiful Epiphone - it..s all about about intensity and passion, straight from her honky-tonk-heart!
She is a fan and plays for fans. But also she loves to play for people who never-ever-in-their-life intended to become a Country-fan: "Hey, i don..t like country-music.But Kitty- if THIS is country, I DO like it!" There are people who call her the 'LORETTA LYNN of the Ruhrpott'...This is a great honour, I can tell you...(just for info to all of you: the Ruhrpott, where Kitty lives, is a big former industrial/coalmining area, so that comparison gets something special...)

I have a new video online. It´s one of the songs I wrote for the movie 'Mc Kimme' coming to cinemas this spring (the trailer can be found on my myspace- and youtube-profile either). Please check out my new video, leave a comment and don’t forget to rate ;o)
My new record just came out this week on I-Tunes and CD Baby. I have included a video talking about the record, hope you enjoy it! Please leave us some feedback to let us know what you think! Thanks for your support.
(Eng.) We (FREE BEARS) wish you a peaceful and a successful New Year! ******************************* (Germ.)
Geheimnisvoll. Archaisch. Zeitlos.

I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:
Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.
Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka
Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.
