I am very involved in animal rescue. Working with Best Friends Animal Society during Hurricane Katrina was one of the most heartbreaking & rewarding things I have ever done. Working with the animals after Katrina was life altering and the friends that were made during my time in the Gulf states will be with me the rest of my life.
I have a super husband two great sons and the best grandkids going.
My goal right now is to start a small animal shelter.
These beautiful cats were in dreadful shape when Best Friends stepped in to take care of them. I spent a week volunteering with Best Friends in Pahrump. Of course I couldn't leave without adopting so Elmer and Emmit came home with me. This was a dreadful man made disaster. Best Friends Animal Society came to the rescue of these sweet cats
