Kitty Whip was formed in July 2007 when Dawn and Kimi decided there weren't enough girls with guitars out there representing rock in Pennsylvania. Why should the boys have all the fun? Kitty Whip consists of Ruschelle (of Ribbon Grass Acoustic Group and formerly of Jimmy Sweatpants, Petey Gets Around, etc.) on vocals and rhythm guitar, Dawn on lead guitar, Kimi on bass, and Christi (formerly of Never Enough) on drums and is one of the few all-female bands in the state, covering tunes from The Go-Go's to Rage Against The Machine and everything in between! Come out and show your support for 'ballsy' chick rockers and be prepared for a few 'surprises'!
