KIT WALKER: Freehouse
acoustic/electric third stream world jazz
Listener Review from iTunes about the album "Freehouse"
Strong Album ***** (five stars)
"All of Kit's stuff is good. His sound is a tight fusion of rock and jazz....with
a pinch of the Far East thrown in. His music is a major part of the soundtrack
of my life. That's not just me reaching for hyperbole. Listening to Global Warning
takes me to an intense place that's equal parts focus and calm. How this guy
hasn't blown up to Metheny/Vital Information/Weather Report dimensions is beyond
me. If you can find them: Dancing On the Edge of the World and Fire in the Lake
are albums of his early work. The sound would be as fresh if released now. "

hi, I am glad to announce the release of my debut CD called "Interro Island". This is my first solo project, which includes original tunes composed and arranged by me. I hope you will enjoy my work!!!
Kit - I've really enjoyed your music - you are quite an amazing composer/keyboard player/pianist. I'm going to try to catch one of your shows when you're in LA next month. I may be in AZ for a gig over the weekend of the 26th, but we'll see how Spirit moves. I've been wanting to meet the man behind the talent (and the one who shares my last name... ;-) Cheers, Marti
