KIZMET ARE PROUDLY SUPPORTED BY
Kizmet One Life DVD (10 min version)
Sounds Like
The power of rolling big surf but at the same time has an essence of beauty and tranquillity about it that draws the listener in until they are consumed by its power. The Music.
Energetic, melodic rock, with a powerful undertow and a strong message can best describe the sound produced by Queensland rock outfit Kizmet. The band have been touring and composing music together since the year 2000 and working with some of the best names in the industry. One of those big names has been Aria Award winning producer Anton Hagop (Silverchair, Powderfinger and COG) who engineered Kizmet’s previous 2 national E.P releases (The 4 track self titled EP and the recent release ‘One Life’), which gained them recognition Australia wide on national radio.
KIZMET
Following up on the previous CD releases Kizmet have also had success through television and the release of the video’s to (Guiltstruk, Solitude and Rectify) which were featured on Rage, MTV and Channel V. The release of ‘Solitude’ also scored them interviews and coverage on midweek afternoon TV shows Hot Source and The Big Arvo Show.
For those who have been eyewitness to the energetic live shows can attest to why their name is so highly discussed. The band has spent the last 2 years on the road promoting their previous release ‘One Life’ and has developed a strong base of supporters the keeps growing by the day. Their reputation has spread performing to sell out crowds in their hometown and supporting big named acts such as COG and Shihad.
Kizmet have recently locked themselves away in the studio to write the next huge release. They have landed some interest from all over the world and the next release looks to be a big one in 2007. The band will be still performing spot shows around the country so make sure you come and feel the energy and new sound everybody is talking about.

We have had an exceptional response through myspace from some of the most talented underground musicians in the world . It is your contribution to our show that show people that there are still actually real musicians out there [and rap is surely not damn music, neither is that techno crap].
Undergroundsounds airs throughout Australia Thursday/Saturdays p.m.
Bands that would like their music aired on any future shows can forward their material to the address below;
