Lots of electronic music. Im a big fan of Mylo, Nightmares on wax, Aim, Fatboy Slim and loads of other dance acts. Having said that, I love reggae and alot of bands.
From Groombridge, England. Have been making music digitally for years now. To think it started all on a 80's casio keyboard! Inspiration from early dance music and lots of electronic music, big beat etc. Spent a lot of time in the states where I was introduced to blues and gangster rap! I think my music includes a combination of hip hop, techno, and electronica.
I use as little samples as possible to keep the music original. The only samples are those used to give a track authenticity (e.g. rap acapellas) or if I especially like a riff. Occasionally I nick a sample such as the sample I took from Cassius (a French house group). However, this has been edited heavily (slowed down, cut, and filtered) so if a sample is used, it always has a bit of me in it! Although there are remixes here, most of my tracks are 100% me and original. I use a sequencer with a drum machine, lots of vst instruments & FX, a sampler, and my trusty midi-keyboard.
