Dressing up is a major part of our daily life; for example, we wear a suit and tie when we go to work, or wear the latest fashion brands when we go on a date. Self is a mutable aspect. I cosplay, since I can be the image that I choose to be. My favorite cosplay roles are Generic Rock Star or Gothic Lolita.
I love to use belly dance moves when I sing! As well as being a student of Japanese language and culture, I study American Tribal Bellydance (ATB) at Fat Chance Belly Dance, 670 S. Van Ness Ave, San Francisco. The founder of Fat Chance Belly Dance, Carolina Narducci, and members of the dance troupe teach intro and intermediate classes at the Fat Chance Belly Dance studio on Van Ness. I take private belly dance lessons from Jill Parker of Ultra Gypsy Belly Dance Troupe, San Francisco.

I also like legal theory, especially in the area of medical malpractice or personal injury. In 2005, I graduated Cum Laude from the De Anza Community Paralegal Certificate Program. Since graduating, I have been freelancing as a paralegal under the supervision of a California licensed attorney, Paul McCarthy. I like being a paralegal because I can use my talent as a writer to concisely tell the client's story or clearly state his position, in a compelling way within a legal framework. I live and work in San Francisco Bay Area.

I moved to the SF Bay Area from Hawaii in 2000. I was trained by Remy Abelliera (Blue Water Cafe, Waikiki) to be a karaoke jockey (KJ). Name sound familar? Reno Abelliera, famous Waimea short board surfer, is Remy Abellira's bro. Lenson Sonoda (Blue Water Cafe, Waikiki, and Top of the Ilikai, Honolulu), his cuz, trained me to do a high energy, culturally diverse karaoke show. It's all in the family! In Waikiki, I worked various music gigs as a KJ at Outrigger Hotel, Blue Water Cafe, and private parties. Other vocal training included, enka voice by Masaji Uyehara (Club Nisei Band), and shamisen operatic voice by Sensei Chei Chidori (University of Hawaii). Since returning to the the Bay Area, I have worked as a KJ for Acapulco Restaurant and Cantina in Santa Clara for over seven years. Recently, an Oakland club, Luka's, c/o of Grand & Broadway, Uptown Oakland, added my karaoke show to their weekly entertainment line-up on Luka's Urban Monday Night. While in Hawaii, I was the leader/front person of a band called the ACID ROCK PARTY, a.k.a. the PSYCHEDELIC ROCK PARTY, an alternative/acid rock band, which played at the Sting, Ala Moana Hotel; Snappers, Waikiki; Anna Bananas, Honolulu, and private parties. I performed as a jazz vocalist at Magner's on the Park, and with pianist, Danny Ironstone, at the New Orleans Bistro, Waikiki. I worked as a hapa Hawaiian singer and hula dancer for the Ebbtides at conventions. Since returning to the Bay Area, I worked as a back-up singer for Zakiya Hooker at the Club Jazz Nouveau in San Francisco.
