About me:
I live in Central Illinois in a tiny one bedroom house that has been in my family for over 100 years. My husband and I created a rockgarden in our front yard and our favorite thing to do, in good weather, is to sit outside on our swing and wave at traffic. Sounds corny, but it's a small town and we know practically everyone.
As a writer, I'm a late-bloomer and didn't start writing seriously until 1997, as therapy after the suicide of my youngest brother. Since then, I have published short stories, a novel, and over 60 poems. I'm a newspaper columnist,co-founder of the Central Illinois Writer's Guild, moderator for VoicesNet.com, write blogs and teach writers workshops at my local library.
"BLOODLINE: The Glass House," my first novel, was published in November 2007, in the genre of Christian/Horror/Fiction and am currently working on my 2nd novel "The Glass Heart."
Happily married for 29 years, I'm a grandmother of five. Besides writing, my interests are photograpy, vintage memorabilia, reading and quilting.
