Bio:

KLANGMASSAGE is a, in autumn 2009 founded, psychedelic trance project based in vienna, austria.

karl aka TRAVELLER, born 1982 in a small part of south-east austria, started his first experiences with rhythms and percussion in his early childhood, at the age of 5, when he started to play on his mum..s empty flower-pots. after a while doing this, his parents recognized his rising passion for rhythms and decided to educate karl in the local music-school. he started there playing drums and percussion at the age of 7 and quit at the age of 17. during that time he joined the local brass band and played many several competitions and contests like "prima de la musica". at the age of 18 he got his first contact with a friend..s turntables...he started djing with house-music like junior jack and tribal house...later he got into drum n bass...and in 2005 he got infected by psychedelic trance!!! he started to dj under the synonym sudara which he changed later into TRAVELLER! since 2005 he played as dj many gigs in austria and in germany. one day he got introduced into music-production software "logic" by a friend...he saw the possibilities in making electronic music and so, 2007 he decided to produce psychedelic trance by himself...


rené aka MAYDAY, born 1984 somewhere in south-east austria, near the hungarian border, starts to explore music in his early childhood. at the age of 5 he started to play the wood-flute. 2 years later his parents inscribed him into the local music-school, where got musically education and started to play the trumpet for 7 years. during that time, he joined the local brass band and played there for 4 years on many events and competitions. when he turned 14 he decided to quit playing the trumpet and leaving the local brass band!
at this point of time, he met his first love: fast, driving, offensive and melodic punkrock in combination with skateboarding and local punkrock-movement...at the age of 17 he formed together with some friends a hardcore-punk band called the vellocet effect...he did vocals there and started slowly making experiences in playing guitar and bass. many shows and 6 years later, they split up in summer 2008! one day, in summer 2005 rené joined his first psy-trance party which took a deep impact on him...he was blown away completely...AND IN LOVE AGAIN!!! later, 2006 a friend introduced him to fruity loops with the words: "ey man, u can make music with that - check it out"!!!



since their infection and first impact with this very special kind of music, psychedelic culture, travelling and meeting many people and friends on parties all around the globe, they got more and more interested in producing their own sounds and creating music...in late autumn 2009, karl and rené decided to join forces and form KLANGMASSAGE!!! together they share the passion for deep basslines, knarzi sounds, mystic-melodic soundscapes and full power dancing!!!
