Imogen Gilfedder-Cooney commenced Violin & Piano with her mother in 2000. By 2003 Imogen had completed her 8th Grade Violin & 7th Grade Piano (AMEB). Imogen joined the Qld Youth Orchestra in 2003 and was Co-Concert Master and Concert Master in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Also in 2004 Imogen was Concert Master of the Ipswich Master-class series under Conductor Sergei Korschmin. In 2005 Imogen gained her Associate Diploma with Distinction, and as a participant of the Australian Youth Orchestra Camp performed in the Beethoven String Quartet Op 18 at the Elder Conservatorium Adelaide. Imogen is currently a member of the Qld Youth Symphony and is completing grade 10 at school. Imogen has twice performed as a soloist with the Qld Youth Orchestras - performing Vivaldi's Summer in 2005, and the Wieniawski Concerto No 2 in 2007.In 2008 Imogen will tour Germany, France and Italy as a member of the Qld Youth Symphony
Finn Gilfedder-Cooney commenced Viola & Piano in 2000 with his mother. By 2004 Finn had completed his AMEB 8th Grade on both instruments. In 2005 Finn was awarded the Certificate of Completion (Piano) with Honours. In 2006 Finn achieved his Associate Diploma with Distinction. Finn has been a member of the Qld Youth Orchestras since 2002. Between 2004 & 2006 Finn attended Australian Youth Orchestra national and Young Symphonist Camps. Finn is currently a member of the Qld Youth Symphony and is completing Grade 11 at Brisbane State High.
Jesre Stenson commenced Violin with Emin Tagiev just before her 5th Birthday. She achieved her Associate Diploma (AMEB) in 2003 at the age of 12.Jesre has played solo in Germany and Singapore and has won numerous awards including Quest Newspapers' Young Star July 2005 award; grant recipient Layne Beachley's Aim for the Stars Foundation; and Intermediate Champion Sunshine Coast Eisteddfod.
Jesre also plays Piano at Amus level and Percussion in bands at Clayfield College. Jesre is Concert-Master of her school orchestra and was a member of the Qld Youth Orchestra in 2003, as well as 1st Violin in the State Honours Ensemble in 2005 and Concert Master of this Ensemble in 2007.
Nil Hobiger started learning Cello at the age of 4. At 5 he was accepted in his first Orchestra and in 2005 he became a member of the Qld Youth Symphony. Nil's latest achievemnts are the Performer's Certificate in Cello from Trinity College, London. Fisrt place in the String Championship of the Qld Eisteddfod 2007. Also in 2007 Nils was awarded his Associate Diploma (AMEB). Nils is currently a member of the Qld Youth Symphony and attends TAFE. Nils has also been a member of The Urchins since 2004.
