About klaus white & the troubadours
Klaus White & The Troubadours play a unique brand of jazz/pop with influences ranging from Tom Waits to Frank Sinatra, via Ben folds and Neil Finn. If you like Norah Jones, Harry Connick, or Ray Lamontagne you'll love Klaus White & the Troubadours. The Troubadours have appeared most recently at the More London Live Music Festival at the 'Scoop' along side big names such as Jim Mullen, Roachford, and Soul Sax legend Maceo Parker and Angelo Star and The AllStars. Their debut album 'Fool Moon' showcases 8 original songs as well as two crowd pleasing covers from their live set; a swinging version of the Britney Spears tune 'Baby One More Time' and a unique jazzed up interpretation of Nik Kershaw's number one record - 'Wouldn't It Be Good.' Many musical friends have donated their expertise to the album including the marvellous Matt Clackett who appears with his saxophone on ''She Is Beautiful' . Jon Cohen lends his incredible skill on the ivorys to two songs 'She is Beautiful' and Good Morning World', and Dan Teper, long serving member of the Cosmic Sausages creates the sound of Le Parisien with his incredible Accordion playing on 'I Am Yours', and the hugely talented Damien Edwards contributes backing vocals on 'So Far To Fall'. The album is published by Moving Image Music and released on Klaus's own label, Diamond Wheel Records. If you'd like to find out more about The Troubadours you can email klaus at 'klauswhiteandthetroubadours@hotmail.co.uk' or klauswhite@hotmail.com.
