About me:

My name is Laurie Curtis and I am a 29 year old stay at home mom. My passion and escape from the chaos of home is my art. I love taking photos, writing, drawing, and anything in between. I grew up in Philadelphia, PA the first 14 years of my life then moved to Southern Florida.
In 2004 I moved to California. I have met a lot of influential people here. It has been a pretty amazing experience, I've had thus far. I think the world is a fascinating, beautiful place and hope to be able to experience as much of it as I can. I'm moving back to PA very soon with a lot of projects in the works!
Writing has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can recall. When I got my first typewriter, it didnt take long for me to discover that this was the ultimate creative outlet for me. I love writing, drawing, taking pictures. I've always loved art. Creating gives me that excited butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling.
I just recently became interested in photography. I'm attracted to using Mother Nature as my model. I never have to go far to find an encouraging subject. I'm continually trying to improve and to become a better and more creative photographer. You are welcome to look at my work. I invite comments and constructive criticism of all my work. I am so happy that I can share it with you and only hope that they can make just a single butterfly stir in your stomach.
