KLC_NIR(a.k.a. LIU Chun), experimental musician, founder of GiN Label, is now living and working in Shenzhen,PR China. Before he focused on the field of experimental music and sound art, from 1999 to 2006, he, as a guitarist and vocalist, have founded and joined into several bands (alternative rock/electronica/experimental/grunge/song writer) in local. He totally engrossed in composing experimental music/sound art (Ambient/Concrete/Microsound) independently in 2007. Much of his work presents a mysterious and silent landscape of Eastern philosophic thoughts. In the future, he plans to have more experiments and attempts on the field of sound art (Noise/Minimal/Field Recordings/Installations). His debut mini album "Monument" was released under GiN Label in Oct 2008. In Feb 2009, his second album "SHI" was published under Chilean based Net label- EPA Sonidos. These two solo albums represented some kinds of his interests in sound art, but not in all aspects. In addition, he has also collaborated with other musicians. The live album "B-Side" which collaborated with experimental musician Zen Lu has been released under GiN Label in Nov 2008. Next, he worked with Nejmano, a Polish Sound Artist, have together finished another album "SounDual" for the ChoP project vol.4 which under We Play! Records and it has been out in Mar 2009.
