Hakkımda: I write novels for teens and kids. I have three out for teens -- Fat Kid Rules the World, Saint Iggy, and King of the Screwups. My 8 to 12 age novels are The Liberation of Gabriel King and The Garden of Eve. I also have a how-to book out called Writing and Selling the YA Novel. Check out my web site at klgoing.com
Otherwise...
I like music and movies, books and more books, ketchup and lots more ketchup, cats named Merry and Pippin, anything related to Kurt Cobain or Iggy Pop, people who speak their minds, guys named Dustin who make me laugh and convince me to spend hours playing WoW, chocolates with cream centers when I'm feeling up, cinnamon rolls when I'm feeling down, wine with dinner, wine without dinner, being as cool a stepmom as possible because I'm convinced step parents CAN rock if we try, anything that makes the world a better place, people who are creative, people who are kind, people who make me smile, traveling, and dreaming about future traveling to both real and imaginary lands.
Kimle tanışmak isterim: Teen readers. People who love good books. People who like to discuss stuff. Other writers. Libraries and librarians. Wise people. Funny people.

Thank you so much for the addition. I loved your book "Fat Kid Rules the World." Since I am somewhat corpulent myself it was great to see a similar character in YA fiction. The only other character I can think of that is "thick" world be Virigina in "The Earht, My Butt and other Big Round Things." I cannot wait to read your newest book. I am going planning to read the non-fiction book you wrote discussing YA literature.
It is a great day to be alive! What Question can I ask to empower myself and others? How can I improve the experience of those I encounter today? What can I do to facilitate your Gift?
Yesterday Is History Tomorrow is a Mystery Today is a Gift... That's why we call it the Present
Greetings from Sussex, and I thank you for adding my name to your list of "friends." Perhaps you will be interested to hear that my literary agent, Ms King, has cajoled me into participating in a program she is calling "Fifteen Weeks of Bees," which will tie together the fifteenth anniversary of our first collaboration, The Beekeeper's Apprentice, and the publication of our newest venture in May, The Language of Bees. Appropriately, "Fifteen Weeks" will join my efforts on MySpace with hers on her web site and blog. Please join us starting on February 1.
Thanks for being a member of the Worldwide Fiction Writer's Group (http://groups. myspace. com/wfwg). Since October 26, 2006, we've grown from 1 member to 424. Pretty solid growth . . . but until recently, the forum has been fairly unsteady. I'm wondering if you could help me change that, please? Many "newbies" have joined lately and are looking for advice and mentors. You veterans, please stop by and offer advice often and freely. And you "newbies," please drop by often and be thankful for the advice received. Together, let's make 2009 the year of increased activity in the W.F.W.G. forum.
By the way, I'd love to learn more about you (and help you any way I can!). Please feel free to e-mail me anytime at jjhebert@gmail.com (put "W.F.W.G. member:Top priority" in the subject line) or you can join my "Email List" on www. jjhebert. net to learn about me (my novel's coming out in July)! Talk to you soon, and let's make 2009 a HUGE year for W.F.W.G. and all of its members!
As you may or may not know, I turned twenty-five the other day. Instead of gifts this year, I'm asking everyone to join my Email List on www. jjhebert. net. Unconventional, my newest novel, will be published by Mindstir Media later this year, and joining the Email List will ensure that you receive updates regarding my book release, contests, giveaways, and more.
