Bio
Klickitat is an instrumental quartet from Portland, OR, that Willamette Week calls, "the least pretentious synthesis of jazz and rock in recent memory." The band has quickly risen in the Pacific Northwest on the reaction to their outstanding self-released debut Live in Portland, OR | 2010. Not a band to sit still, Klickitat is back with a brand new live album entitled Year of the Tiger. Showcasing the bands' experimental nature and highly improvisational playing, the album was recorded 100% live during the second half of 2010. Klickitat continues to extend their reach across the west coast and throughout the Pacific Northwest and with the release of Year of the Tiger, and a studio album soon to come, 2011 promises to be a breakout year for Klickitat. -

“The Cyrus Grape Orchestra's new album draws on a mix of influences including Mars Volta, NIN and Radiohead; from this they've concocted a Jeff Buckley-Mahavishnu style fusion that listeners will struggle to describe.” - PDXjams2 years agoGreat stuff ! We'll be spreading the word about your shows ! Keep jamming !
