About me:

Hey.. my name is Jerry. I'm 28 years old.. feel more like 50. Funny how that works. I work for Verizon Wireless. It's a good job which I enjoy.

My life rotates around my kids and work. Non-stop. I am eager to get my life completely together and moving forward in a positive manner. And the best thing in the world right now is that feeling I get when Becca just comes up hangs on me. lol I'm a sucker for my kids. lol

I have three beautiful girls who are my reason for living. Four if you count Chey.. :) She's a great kid who I'd so keep as my own. lol My oldest is Rebecca, she is 11. Then Maria who is now 6 and Lori who is 5. It's amazing how they grow up so fast.

So besides working 40+ hours a week and just living life as it comes at me.. this is me in a nut shell.

Who I'd like to meet:

I don't care really who I meet. I'm interested in everyone, but my heart doesn't go easily. I seek friends. Because no matter what else happens in life - true friends are always there. So - Male, Female.. I honestly don't care. If you add me expecting anything.. it'd be good for you to know I'm still getting my life together. And till then, I'm quite focused on myself and my family.. and that isn't set to change for some time.

And if after all that if you still want to contact me.. fine.. I don't care. lol

Interests

  • General

    Well.. I have been in two main fields. Logistics and Information Technology & Communication. I was married from 2000 - 2006, working in the IT field. Then in 2006 my life changed. I started driving trucks across the country. That turned into a career I love. Going from driving to fleet management and logistics brokering - and someday to open my own yard. It's a great field and I feel at home there.

    I have made choices in my life - some I highly regret, some I treasure. But I believe in a flow to life and that what is meant to be will be. The choices we make make us who we are. And frankly I'm proud of who I am. I work hard. I do my best. And I help people as best I can. Karma is a bitch - but it's true. What goes around, comes around. So if your life doesn't look great.. if the bad just keeps happening to you.. look inside yourself and think - when was the last time I just did something out of love?

  • Music

    Music is my escape. My release. My emotions put into words. Anything and everything.. I like it all. Well.. almost. I can't stand alot of cRap. eh..

    I currently have my IPOD with me at ALL times. lol It's 8GB of pure bliss. At home I have a collection of music that currently sits at over 60GB (that is well over 10,000 MP3s) Music gives us memory, thought, dreams, emotion.. its pure beauty and peace. It can drive us to run, walk, meditate and just.. relax. It can motivate the romantic in us, or power the rage inside us. Music is the true universal language.

  • Movies

    As for movies.. I'm the kind of guy who has a little heart. I like it all.. Drama, Comedy, Musical.. Action.. my favorite is horror films. I own tons of movies, and it's a pleasure of mine to sit back and watch an old favorite with the person I care the most for.

  • Television

    I don't really watch alot of TV. Mostly it's the history channel before I goto bed. Puts me to sleep. lol I just don't have time anymore for it. Sadly.

    Otherwise.. my favorite shows : Smallville, Family Guy, Simpson's, Anime (all kinds), CSI, you get the picture. :)

  • Books

    I am however an avid reader. Anything and everything. I love to learn and love to wrap myself in a world outside of this so called reality.

    My favorite authors are : Terry Brooks, Anne Bishop, Anne Rice, Dan Brown, and a few others. :) Yeah.. I even like the damn Harry Potter books. lol

  • Heroes

    My Dad. Plain and simple. He's getting old. It scares me everyday to know that I only have a few years at most to spend with him, and I'm not even home. He put up with my teenage years. God help him. He puts up with my adult years too. I did more to push him away then anything else - and yet, he's a rock. There for me when I need someone to talk to. There for me when I refuse to let anyone else be.. and even though I'm a punk and a fucking asshole most of the time. He's still there. He taught me how be a man, how to treat a woman, and how to roll with the punches. Love you Pop.
