After a break during 2006 Klinga now is back with two new great musicians. The line up with Magnus Holmström (three times World Champion on nyckelharpa), David Eriksson (student at the Royal College of Music) and Dag Strömberg (songwriter and original member of Klinga since 1998) marks the start of a promising future. A meeting between wind and string instruments such as flutes, saxophone, mandola and different types of nyckelharpa – a keyed fiddle unique to Sweden. Our aim is sensitive and dynamic music made for live performance; concert or dance. Here you can listen to some recordings from a concert in Gottröra church. Most of the music is newly composed, combined with some traditional tunes from the region of Västerbotten (here ”Innersta Friden”). To be continued...

Hello Klinga, thank you for adding me to your Myspace circle of friends. I enjoyed your song samples. Nice variety. You all play with a lot of grace and beauty. Be well, John
Thank you for accepting our friend request. I really apreciate the fusion between your instruments and the interaction between the strings and the recorders. Like I said before, your music is pure magic.
Thanks for adding us to your myspace circle of friends. I have been listening to nyckelharpa music for many years and really love the sound of Klinga. I look forward to hearing more of your music in the future. Be well, John
A very Merry Christmas to you, David, Magnus and Dag! I'm wrapping presents tonight and two special friends will get a chance to hear your lovely music at Christmas. I'm also still struggling with the personalized CD I'm making of my favorite songs of 2007. When it finally gets done, I will send all of you a copy. Cheers to you. Your music was a highlight of 2007 for me and your friendship.
Hi, Dag, I got the package. Thank you so much. I'm going to listen while I'm driving my long commute to work tomorrow. That's my private music time. I will save the others for special friends who will appreciate them as I know I will. Now, you must let me return the kindness with something from Texas. Any thoughts, don't be shy or you must settle for a surprise:) Is the weather nice this time of the year there? It's a lovely fall in Texas although the early darkness makes me sleepy. The consolation is I can wear my beautiful winter boots. Hey, I'm a girl after all. Cheers to you all and thank you, Barbara
