Artist Statement: My mission as an artist is to consistently give innovative, honest, direct, and entertaining expression through the art of lyriscizm in hip hop, soul & R&B even if it means going against the grain, pissing people off, or making people feel uncomfortable.
Start of Career: I started rapping with a VA group called The Cess Blessers in 1996 under the name of InfraRed. We were offered a record deal from our first single, but we got screwed with bogus contracts and the group fell apart shortly after the deal fell apart. I was so torn over it I stopped rapping, and for 10 years tried to forget about it. But being away was like living with a slit artery, I was dieing slowly. Hip Hop kept calling me. After surrendering to it, I was re-born as K. Love the Infinite and have been back on the scene as of 2007, trying to make up for lost time.
Sound Like - I honestly have no idea. I'd be interested to hear what you think.
Current Albums: None. But I do have a demo available for sale on CD Baby for $5, and tracks available for individual download, (some free). I hope you will consider purchasing a CD or MP3 if you like what you hear.
Performance Set: My set is currently 20-30 minutes in length and features DJ Nett & soul singer Tekoa. It's an awesome mix of hip hop, soul, & turntablism that will definatley uplift, inspire and resonate with people of various bakcgrounds. Booking me for a paid gig, or a gig where I can sell CD's would be a much welcomed gesture.
