Hmmm, lately? Trying to find time to write, sitting in judgement of others, spying on the neighbors, compulsive book shopping, having in-depth discussions about trivial subjects, polishing my tiara, laughing at totally inappropriate moments, being continually amazed that The Hubster hasn't had me fitted for a straight jacket and watching way too much HGTV.
Music
A totally psychotic mix of everything from pop to jazz, country to classical, punk to rockabilly...with a current love of big band and George Michael. Go figure. Pretty much anything with a good brass section that you can dance to while vacuuming the living room.
Movies
Plain and simple, I like movies that make me laugh. I love action (explosions, big guns and car chases...YAY!), adore quirky characters (think Shaun of the Dead) and have a special place in my heart for the movies Die Hard and The Birdcage.
Television
I'm a sucker for reruns of FRIENDS and Will & Grace, and am currently addicted to anything and everything on HGTV and The Travel Channel. Ooo...and Ghost Hunters! Way hooked on the show Dexter and am guilty of watching too much TRU TV. Come on...Disorder In The Court? You can't NOT watch!
Books
I'm drawn to books that have wacky characters, suspense and humor with a good mystery thrown in the mix. Huge fan of Jen Lancaster (who ROCKS!), Marian Keyes, Janet Evanovich, Kate White, Carl Hiaasen and Jill Connor Browne amongst many others. Books are like oxygen. I need them to survive ;-)
Heroes
Anyone who has the guts to find out who they are, embrace their flaws, take charge of their life and do something to make the world a better place. Straight-shooters and smart-asses, survivors and anyone who stands up for what is right.
