Hey, just wanted to let you know as a fellow SoMDer that Fink Ployd will be playing at Monk’s Inn on Saturday, May 31st. We’ll be opening for Odin’s Court with a full set of Pink Floyd! We’ll be doing classics from albums such as Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, and more!
Odin’s Court, a Lexington Park based band who just got signed to the label ProgRock Records, will be playing 2 sets after us including their own originals as well as covers by bands that inspire them. They have also told us that they’ll have their new CD Deathanity available for purchase too!

Deathanity is the latest effort from Odin’s Court, a Maryland, USA band. Deathanity is an ambitious concept album dealing with the effects mankind’s actions are having on the planet. Alternate views are offered through the use of instrumentation, lyrics, sound effects, and various vocal clips. Ambience, dynamics, and soul are combined with complexity, groove, and energy in a song oriented structure, to create a unique, surreal landscape. Each song, dealing with a different theme, is accompanied by a newly created word and definition in the album art. Special guest vocalists include Tom Englund (Evergrey) and Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica).
