    Right now, I've got Kim Dunn's (remember her? jfkdunn70 ) "He Laid His Hands On Me" in my cd player in my car- it's my favorite CD of her's EVER!!!! I've even recommended it to the music director of my church to see about having a "special guest" singer come out but he hasn't responded to me yet. Keep your fingers crossed and prayers going on that one! Journey, Queen, Daughtry, Jordin Sparks, I'm pretty spread out when it comes to music.

    My favorites are The Goonies, Dirty Dancing, and well pretty much anything with Will Smith in it (i.e. Independence Day.) Thelma and Louise, the Breakfast Club, FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF!!!!! (may be my favorite!) I love Cameron! TOP GUN. Love it.

    My favorite show is Nip/Tuck. Best show ever. I can't help myself. Other than that, I watch Damages, M*A*S*H (one of the best comedies of all time), and Family Guy. There's one I'm missing but I can't think of it right now... HEROES! THAT'S IT! lol

    The Stand from Stephen King. I've read that book probably 25 times- I'm not kidding. At least once or twice a year since I was 13. Best. Book. Ever. Currently I'm reading "The Power of a Praying Woman" by Stormie Omartian.

I've lived in different parts of the country in the last couple of years and I think we've finally settled down in Cedar Hill, TX, a suburb of Dallas. I'm finally coming to grips with the fact that it was a good thing to leave California altogether because there were too many bad people there in my life. Yes, I grew up in California, but it's really hard to be yourself growing up there and not be one of the "popular people" like you see on The Hills or whatever (of course, the only show like that when I was in high school was 90210). I had no friends in high school and it sucked. Because of that, I threw myself into my studies, and I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and High Honors. I've never been to a house party because no one felt friendly enough to invite me. I had my car vandalized in the school parking lot just because someone (who was my best friend for a few years) decided that she didn't like me anymore (we were 17- I know I was a bit more mature than this.) Losing my best friend happened 3 times in high school. I guess I have a bad association with California now because of the things like this that happened. But now I am married to the most wonderful man ever and have 2 great kids, 3 dogs and 5 cats. Screw all of them... I have more now than they will ever have. They are all still probably paying off student loans, are single and are living off of daddy's dollar. Yeah well, you know what? I bought a house at 21. A brand new car at 22. We had everything paid off (including mortgage) by the time I was 26 when we moved to Alabama. I'm in a better place now than any of them will ever be. If I wanna cut my hair off and dye it red, so be it. If I wanna have a nosering and 3 earrings in each ear and 2 cartilige piercings, so be it. I'm not a bad person. If I wanna get tattoos, so be it. Love me or hate me, I don't care. This is the way I am. I know who my friends and family are and they're the only ones I need. If you're gonna be an asshole to me, just turn and walk away and don't start anything. Take me or leave me the way I am. It's the inside that counts. Who I'd like to meet:

My major interest in meeting would be Freddie Mercury of Queen, but he died in November of 1990. I would love to meet Barak Obama as well, because he's very inspirational to me- and he's going to be President! Other than that, I would like to say that I would like to say I would like to meet Jesus so that he could answer some questions for me, but then I don't want that. I want to wait until He feels it's time for me to come meet Him. Everything is up to Him.
