Hey, I just wanted to thank you for your posting on Prop 8. It means a lot to know that some people choose to think for themselves and not discriminate based on the prejudices of the generations before them. I really appreciate your support. I don't know if you are aware, but they recently passed Amendment No. 2 to the Florida state constitution (where I currently live) that does the same thing as Proposition 8 in California... and then some. It has been difficult for my partner and I, and we are now thinking of leaving here again because of it. So, again, I appreciate your support in spite of all of our political differences.

On a different note, I am sorry to hear about the ending of your relationship. We live and we learn, I suppose; although, I know that does not make the road ahead of you any easier. You have your friends and colleagues near to support you, and this, too, shall pass.
