K.M. Sudnik was one person, playing all instruments and performing all vocals, for a long time. As well as writing all lyrics. She began writing songs in 2003, and has been at it on and off for all the time thats passed from then.
It all began with a bass guitar and the devil incarnate... That was interface one, which spawned the first album "Reclaiming Fantasy". From there she progressed into another form of music, and became very experimental, due to a lack of familiar software.
Reclaiming Fantasy, (2004 - 2005) is mainly electronic music, however there are definately tracks that are full blown bass, guitar and drums only. It is difficult to classify the sound of this album. However, for purposeful purposes, ;-) one might say Evanescence meets Tori Amos meets Otep meets George Winston.
The second Album, Redemption, came from 2005 - 2007, and is comprised of various tracks, coming from numerous experiences, and it includes "Solitude Falls", and older songs which were left over from Reclaiming Fantasy.
Presently, she is working with a mysterious new counterpart, who, may very well be writing and recording lyrics for 'Want", a new track, vocalless at this point, for her, and she is composing a most bitching intro for his own album 'Breaking The Seventh Circuit'.
He can be investigated at Myspace.com/7ssins
She has also come into working exclusively with one Circutia Breaker, whose influence can be heavily felt in 'Want" and "Escapism II - Still A Grey Area"
She expects the ensuing projects to come with feverish heat and depth, and encourages you all, to keep an eye on the site, for updates, often. :-)
Stay tuned for details.
New song sounds good Kim. What kind of software do you use? I'm impressed with the sound quality. All of my home recordings are analog... I don't understand recording software.
