92.1 FM KNBT Radio New Braunfels is the heart of Americana Music! The station was first licensed in and has been broadcasting since 1967. 92.1 FM has changed some since then, we were playing mainstream country music, then switched to the Americana format in April of 1996, when the very first Crossroads Americana show with Mattson Rainer aired. What is Americana music (you might ask)? A big melting pot, just like America itself. Lots of singer/songwriters, plenty of Texas artists, with some bluegrass, classic country, blues, southern rock and folk thrown in for flavor. We had the honor of being named Americana Radio Station of the Year the last year the award was given. Our official website is knbtfm.com where you'll find the station streaming live. We are the Americana Music Authority!
