Motorcycling, Snow Skiing, video games(PS2 and XBox, my current favorites include Tourist Trophy, Splinter Cell and Halo2), computers(gaming including: BF2 and LOMAC, programming), working in my garage with anything mechanical(can fix almost anything including some things that don't need fixin'), the art of riding a motorcycle fast on a ractrack(don't think its art? Eye of the beholder), and fixing my mistakes made on that race track. I enjoy amateur aeronautics, hydrodynamics and physics. I love History. You don't know where to go if you have no idea where you come from. I enjoy Any type of aircraft and love riding my bike to an airshow.(Can it get any better?) I especially like the military side of flight. Very extreme and precise not to mention fighter pilots get all the chicks.
Music
Most music is good. A few of my favorites include: Disturbed, Seven Dust, Billy Pilgrim, Breaking Benjamin, 80's music, Abba, Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, some classical, and movie music and soundtracks. Really been into my kids music lately, Fergie, Justin Timberlake and others from that genre(OMG I am like so cool!).
Movies
Almost any intelligently written movie. My current favorites include: The Kingdom, Manchurian Candidate, Enemy at the Gates, The Lake House, Message in a Bottle(no I'm not gay}, Gone in 60 seconds, The Thomas Crown Afair(NEW), BlackHawk Down, Basic, I Robot, Saving Private Ryan, Contact, Dune, StarWars, etc.
Television
Again, anything well written. Currents include: Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip(cancelled, SUCKS!),Heroes, House, Futureweapons, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Life With Jim, CSI: Las Vegas, and old favorites The West Wing, and Knight Rider and Airwolf.(Man I love the DVR)
Books
Anything Technical and gripping like authers such as Dan Brown, Dale Brown, Isacc Asimov, Frank Herbert, etc. But non fiction is good to. Again historical books and accounts. Remember the OJ Simpson case? Try Marsha Clarks book, fantastic. And of course "Marine Sniper: 93 confirmed kills" about Carlos Hathcock(He was an amazingly determined and strong individual)
Heroes
My Father first and formost, any veteran, my boys "Rico" and "Pit Bob", USAF(ret)General Chuck Yeager, Micheal and Mario Andretti, All the Hayden brothers. I like these people, and admire them, but I won't pay money to see any of them. We all could do anything they did or do, sometimes better.....if we put our equiped heads to it.
About me: ..Brian Misner's Profile | Create Your Badge ..
About me, kind of a loaded question but here goes. I am a well rounded person that likes motorcycles first and foremost. Two in my small garage right now. The Triumph on my opening page was totaled in the fall of 2006 so the CBR 600 is my new track bike...YESSS! The Goldwing, well that tells a story all itself.
I enjoy books (actually reading them...no matches involved), music and movies(like most people) and hanging out with my family and friends.
I don't like the winter anymore. I live in the northern part of the country and used to like winter, and somtimes it's still OK, but for the most part it's hard to motorcycle in the snow.(not impossible though)The other reason I problably am a winter hater is because my job thrives on good weather and there just isn't any that time of year around here.
I enjoy amateur aeronautics, hydrodynamics and physics. I like to solve the problem. I try not to live beyond my means and keep the dept to a minimum. I seem to be happier for it.
I believe you should be nice, be forward, be considerate, and use your head.
Ok, a word on beer. I don't drink to get drunk. I can count on one hand how many times I have been Intoxicated. But I love any beer you can't see thru. I guess Bud light and any other light beer is out. YUKK! Guinness, and any other unfiltered beer is in, especially Ale's and heavy Lagers. YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY I GOT LOVE IN MY TUMMY!

Who I'd like to meet: Motorcycle Enthusiasts(not just people that once owned a bike back in the day) and General Interesting Intelligent People.(GIIP)I just made that last acronym up.
Took the Rocket III today to Gilmore, then put 150 miles on it!!!!! OH MY GOD is that a sweet ride. Only complaint is the seat sucks ass and the is loud, but sounds like a sissy!
Can't sleep so I figured I'd fill you in on my research. For a race battery, get the YTX9-BS (P/U brand). That is only .3 lbs more than a 7, and about $40 bucks cheaper. Talk to you this weekend.
