Kneejerk came together at school from the ashes of the worst kiddie punk band you've ever heard. They recorded three cds, the self released "Helpless I cry", the "Don't clap it startles me" split with Abjure and the Sakari Empire release "The half life of kissing." They always regarded themselves as an emo hardcore band, but, like, that was back when it was underground and shit innit? Obviously the lyrics reflect the fact that these were adolescent young boys who hadn't got laid nearly enough and thought that weird timings executed adequately would cement their position as the greatest band of all time. yeah. Still, don't knock them, they influenced literally tens of people and achieved grudging respect from their hardcore peers. Well...some of them. Frank and Ben went on to play in various bands, together in Million Dead, but also in Palehorse, Sunstarvedday, The Record Buying Public, Concealed Weapons of Mass Destruction, The Aftermath, Thanksfornothing, Armed response unit and... obviously... Frank Turner. Chris is about to start his PHD. Legend.
