Knickelshot are a five piece, heavy rock outfit with a sound all their own. With no need for flashy gimmicks, the band let's their music speak for itself. Having been together for a little more than 14 years, the band has quickly gained a fan base wherever they go. Originally formed in Michigan, they had proven themselves for about 7 years before deciding to head south. In the winter of 2002 they moved to Louisiana to continue the quest for destiny. After a tragic and undeniable event that took place in the Gulf Coast region in the summer of 2005, they were forced to relocate to the Atlanta, Georgia region. After two years in Georgia, they now are currently split up between Michigan and Louisiana. Knickelshot are taking a small breather to collect their thoughts and will continue to stab, twist and pull (very slowly) in the summer of '08. Over the years Knickelshot have gained a core audience and have proven that anyone can enjoy their original style of groove oriented rock.
