Tears of happiness, tears of joy, tears of disappointment, tears of love. All, things we knew and experienced when we were young. Sometimes our legal system causes the young to helplessly waste all their tears of despair on a concrete floor with no one to comfort them. For the rest of their lives there are no tears left for themselves or others. Emotionally spent, devoid and empty inside. One of the most cruel form of punishment is denial of existence. THIS IS JUSTICE??
Juveniles that get in trouble with the law, are arrested and jailed for years before a trial takes place
Juveniles being "certified" as an ADULT, tried in an ADULT court.....when only a "child"
Juveniles coerced into making "false confessions"
Juveniles brow beaten, verbally tortured into making false confessions
Juveniles horrifically abused while in jail and/or prison
Juveniles literally dying behind bars, due to lack of medical care
Juveniles are being incarecerated for life in prison at a tender age of 13(for example)
Juveniles not knowing and understanding the "miranda rights"
Juveniles questioned by authorities without present of counsel and their parents
Juveniles rights being violated in reference to the constitution and bill of rights of our country
Juveniles DO NOT get a "speedy trial", which is afford them by our constitution and bill of rights
Juveniles placed on drugs at such an early age!!
Allow me to be the child, I am......
Let me know when I make you proud.
And help me to have pride in my own accomplishments.
Let me earn your trust. Then trust me. I won't let you down.
Let me try my wings. If I fail, let me know it's OK.
And encourage me to try again.
Let me know you love me. With a hug. Or a pat on the back.
Or, when I need it, with a firm but gentle "no."
Let me be. Let me change. Let me grow.
Let me tell you when I'm feeling bad. Or angry. Even at you.
And let me know that even on my worst days, you still like me.

WONDERING THOUGHTS......
When gazing at his baby picture, I sit here and wonder, no one had any way of knowing what life will bring him from day to day.Now he sits is a small cell long hrs each day, wondering what to do or say.
Only a small child in an adult world, in awe and confusion of what they are saying. Now facing such sadness and depression, some days, thinking I just cannot go on, but somehow I must. I have so many things I would love to do, go fly a kite on a windy day, wade the waters of the old neighborhood pond, stretch out on the grass and soak up the heavenly rays of God's sunshine upon my face, chase butterflies and bugs, just for fun. Call a buddy and just go fishing for a while, or play some games, we talked about so often. Run in and out of the house, kissing my mother€™s cheek on the way out, yelling over my shoulder how much I love her, and thanks for the money, to
buy a burger and coke for my friend and me. Just wondering what that would be like, but keeps me sane in this forsaken place.I am only a child, WHY do "they" keep saying "I" am an "adult"?
Classical, Country, my favorite lady singer is Celine Dion, enjoy soft classical and ballads. One of my all time favorite song is by Collin Raye, IN THIS LIFE, I WAS LOVED "BY YOU"

AdvoCare's Family and Youth Defense Fund is established as a legal defense fund using AdvoCare's current tax exempt status and charitable purpose under their Family Bound program. The purpose of the fund would be to provide assistance in general actions, individual cases, or for filing amicus briefs where the outcome of such cases may effect our members and the general public in areas related to our organizations charitable purpose, goals, and description of activities.
