DJ Style is from New York City and has held residencies at Limelight, Liquids, Float, China Club and Ivy. He also made several guest performances at Tunnel, Sound Factory, Club New York, Cream, Mission, Deep, Copacabana and Clevelander (Miami, WMC 2005) and Ultra Music Festival (Miami, WMC 2006), to name a few. His diverse dj sets take you on a journey through the sounds of tribal, progressive, tech and breaks.
On the international level, Style has appeared on the London music TV show "30 Second Pitch" and on the Turkey music TV show "New York, NY". He has also performed in Germany at Rockopera and Night Flight.
Style's first release "Go Get A", appeared on Barely There Records and debuted at 9 on the Plastic Fantastik Chart in the UK with a remix by Marscruiser, which had strong support by Chris Fortier and D-Fuse. Loop Saviors (Style & Drew Quick) track on BTR "Ghost" reached 1 on Downtown Records Hard House Chart and 5 on MP3.com's Hard Trance Chart.
Style then followed up with "Attack", which was released on Mpls Ltd Records vinyl compilation "Global Infrastructure". He remixed DJ Animal’s "Lick Your Lips" and "Groove" for Promo Records. Under the Style & Zor alias, he has remixed vocal artists including Cyre, Anna DeSilver, and Sandra Allen from MoDu Productions.
In 2002, Style formed Knob Records, and is Director/A&R at Knob. His initial appearance on Knob was on the debut release "Dude", which received much industry support including Sasha.
In 2005, DJ Style released on Knob his first progressive break single titled "So Bad". Along with a remix by Midnight Society & Rick Corbo, it has received massive industry support. "So Bad" reached 1 on the Evolution Record Pool chart, 12 on the Balance Record Pool chart and 14/50 on Rickett's Record Pool. On the remix tip, Knob Records featured Style & Zor remixes of Bass Rokwell’s "South Amerikan FyreFlies" and DJ Apple’s "Graveyard Shift" which received an M8/M8 in the December 2005 issue of M8 Magazine, UK. Style & Zor were voted 22 of the best djs in the tribal house genre on thedjlist.com.
For 2006, DJ Style performed along with DJ Apple at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami for the WMC. He also released his debut compilation on Knob, "Global Tribal Nation".
In 2007, Knob Records released DJ Style - "So Bad 2007". Style's track featuring Lady Life titled, "LifeStyle" was released on Germany label Global Ritmico. He also appeared on Christian Records with remixes of Cristian Paduraru's "Positive Education".
In 2008, Knob's 30th release was Style's highly anticipated tribal compilation, "Turn the Knob Up!", followed up by a minimal, tech-house, techno compilation, "Tech-Know". Also, a re-release of "Global Tribal Nation". In addition, there were DJ Style Knob Remixes of DJ Groovy's, "End of the New World", Benny Blazin's, "Psychedelic", Da Silva & Lino's, "Baby Let's Play House", Thee-O's, "The Music Makes Me", and DJ Dextro's "Komandos" on Filthy Groovin Records. Knob's 50th release is a seamlessly mixed compilation by DJ Style called "Free House". Knob Records final release and DJ Style's 5th compilation of 2008 was "Kilimanjaro".
