Hi Joey. I tried to email you just now but it said it couldn't deliver the message for some reason. I was wondering, is your kickboxing class just aerobic kick-boxing? Or would I be able to hit something!! haha
Anyway...your kinda far so don't know if I could swing it but I figured I would ask because I've always thought Kickboxing would be fun and something I would stick with, but I don't want just aerobic kick-boxing.
Well if I don't talk to you by then have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Jesus spoke of Jonah’s ordeal as a real historical event. He used it as a typological metaphor for His own crucifixion and resurrection, itself a miraculous event. Matthew quoted Jesus as saying, “for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea creature, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation at the judgment, and will condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, Someone greater than Jonah is here” (Matthew 12:40-41; cf. Luke 11:29-30, 32).Brigitte ♥
Elijah, a prophet of God whose name means, “my God is Jehovah,” came from Tishbeh in Gilead, but nothing is known of his family or birth. We first see Elijah in 1 Kings 17:1 where he suddenly appears to challenge Ahab, an evil king who ruled the Northern Kingdom from 874 to 853 B.C. Elijah prophesies a drought to come upon the whole land as consequence of Ahab’s evil choices (1 Kings 17:1-7). Warned by God, Elijah hides near the brook of Cherith where he is fed by ravens. As the drought and famine in the land deepen, Elijah meets with a widow and through her obedience to Elijah’s request, God provided food enough for Elijah, the woman and her son. Miraculously, her barrel of flour and jar of oil never ran outThe lesson for the believer is that if we walk in fellowship with the LORD and obey Him, we will be open to His will and when we are in God’s will, He fulfills all of our needs and His mercy to us never runs short. God gives us certain standards that we must take into account when it comes to giving our time and money to others. When the Bible tells us we are to help others, the purpose is never for us to do this to the point where it becomes detrimental. It's good to do what we're able to do, but 2 Thessalonians 3:10 also reminds us: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat." There are people who want to live an irresponsible lifestyle with absolutely no accountability. So there must be limits; we will help someone with a need, but if we see that it's become a chronic life pattern, it's wrong for us to continue to encourage that. It's very harmful to others to contribute to their indolence, laziness, and lack of effort. The old saying "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach him to fish and he eats for a lifetime" is very true. As long as we see that someone is sincerely making an effort, we should be there to support them in whatever way God leads. Brigitte ♥

"I know the times saith God, times of trouble like the world has not yet seen. Times foretold by My prophets, times when men's hearts will fail them because of fear. But you My children, My sons and daughters are not under My wrath, I will keep you in the palms of My hands. "
"You are My lights, My glissening lights that sparkle like beautiful gems, jewels so rare, tried in the depths where the heat has brightened you to become My beautiful diamonds. You are extravagant, rare, and priceless. Your shimmers in the earth are an awesome sight to Me. You are the jewels in My crown saith God."
"The stronger you love, stronger your light that shines forth from you. Always allow love to be your goal, love is the prize, aim for it. Let love be your bond, let love be the glue that holds you all together. Your love for Me, then your love for each other. Love is the key, the main thing, only thing that matters. "
"It is not how many souls were saved not how many were healed and delivered the real question is how many times did you reach out in the hand of love and give of yourself for another? Did you really care? Did you really walk the extra mile? Did you give your other cheek? Did you give away your coat? Hug the unlovely? Feed the poor? Were you a father to the fatherless even for 1 hour? Did you give a word of hope to the ones in despair? Do you recognize the divine appointments in your life? Did yo
We have the eternal promise of God that “the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” That means you’ll never be sorry you gave your heart to Jesus. You may go through a thousand disappointments, but you’ll never regret your decision to say Yes to Jesus Christ. But the day is coming when many people will be ashamed. They will stand before God embarrassed that they wasted their lives in material pursuits and somehow stumbled over Jesus. They will be stripped of their self-righteousness and nothing will be left but their unforgiven sin. They will see Jesus and will bow before him—but in that day it will be too late. They will have nothing to say, no excuse to give, no claim to make before Almighty God. Because they refused the Son of God in this life, he will refuse them in the next. They will go out into eternal darkness, away from the presence of the Lord. In that day, their guilt will be so great that they will pray for a mountain to fall on them or a flood to wash them away from God’s presence. All because they stumbled over Jesus. Brigitte ♥
