Knovel Records est un netlabel qui a vu le jour à Liège en 2007.
Né de la volonté de l'ASBL Empreintes Digitales (http://www.empreintesdigitales.be), responsable du festival Empreintes Digitales Festival, de promouvoir les artistes de sa région et d'ailleurs, Knovel vous propose à l'heure actuelle sa cinquième sortie sur http://www.knovel.be
Knovel Records (« Quoi de neuf Records », si l'on traduit...) vous propose GRATUITEMENT des artistes dont c'est la première sortie électronique pour certains: Squids, Paintbox.x, Firestorm, Brapt... ou encore des artistes plus confirmés expérimentant un peu plus que d'habitude : Android 80's (brillant membre de Ufo Goes Ufa)...
Knovel Records ne tient pas à se limiter à un style et à devenir un label ennuyeux se contentant « juste » de sortir tel ou tel style... fort de l'exemple et de l'histoire des grands labels qui ont fortement influencé les membres de Knovel ((UR, Kompakt, B-Pitch, F-Com entre autres), le label fait preuve d'un éclectisme montrant que la musique électronique ne se résume pas à un seul style, une seule mouvance...
Vous pouvez aussi entendre certains artistes de Knovel en live (voir même les booker, si si).

Knovel Records : a Netlabel from Liège
Knovel Records is a Netlabel born in Liège in 2007.
Sprung from the will of the Empreintes Digitales Association (http://www.empreintesdigitales.be), in charge of the Empreintes Digitales Festival, to promote artists from Liège and everywhere else, Knovel now offers you its fifth release on http://www.knovel.be.
Knovel Records (“What’s New Records”, in translation…) suggests you – and it’s totally FREE – artists for some of whom this is the first electronic release : Squids, Paintbox.x, Firestorm, Brapt… or some more knowledgeable artists, experimenting a bit more than usual : Android 80’s (outstanding member of UFO Goes UFA)…
Knovel Records doesn’t want to confine to only one style and become a boring label, just contenting with releasing such or such style… Fortified by the example and the story of the great labels which highly influenced the members of Knovel (UR, Kompakt, B-Pitch, F-Com and many others), the label shows an eclecticism proving that electronic music doesn’t amount to only one style, only one movement…
You can also listen to some Knovel artists live (indeed even book them).
