On June 15t 2006 Knowledge for LIFE (K4L) in collaboration with Agaytha Corbin's CDC Resource Consortium (CDCRC) hosted Tavis Smiley's Covenant With Black America (www.covenantwithblackamerica.com). The event was an overwhelming success that gathered Black professionals from every field that encompasses Black life in Dayton, Ohio. Ebony Warrior (EW) is a Heru (Hero) I drew & co-created with Eric Griffin back in 1992. Designed to be a Black Heru that our children could read about, EW was a depiction of life for Black people in America. EW dealt with crime, M/F Relations, corrupt government and more. The series sold-out with every printing - It would be timely if black actors would get together and make a movie made about EW, for our children - hint-hint!!!.
