At a live performance, adventurous explosions of a "funk rock r&b hop" groove combined with their impacting stage presence sets the mood for an entertaining experience. Motivated by the music of Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townshend, Bootsy Collins, Method Man, Steve Goold, Wade's Grandma and Johnny Hodges. Know Breaks has created a truly unique style of multi genre retro-rock that is sure to catch the attention of any listener. Minneapolis inhabitant's Know Breaks (and it's members individually) have shared the stage with several dominating acts: Toki Wright, The Unknown Prophets, Parallax, Kanser, Eyedea, Kristoff Krane, and White Light Riot. A new untitled album is currently in progress written and produced by Know Breaks, co-produced by David Kellogg and Stephen Helvog recorded at Droptone Studios in Excelsior, MN. The album's release is anticipated for fall 2011.
