About me: Big Mama Karaoke Café’s Annual Battle of the Bands is a division of the Big Mama’s Summer Concert Series. This event is intended to encourage all bands, regardless of experience or genre, to participate, perform, and showcase their talent. The competition will start April 25th 2009 and run all summer long, with performances from various bands every Saturday night through Labor Day weekend! All shows will take place at Big Mama’s Backstage Outdoor Venue, right behind the Karaoke Café located at 10605 Chapman Highway in Seymour, Tennessee and include an evening full of music, food, and fun! Each band will have the opportunity to perform on one of the best looking and best sounding stage systems in the southeast, plus professionally video recorded. A one-song performance from each band will be posted on youtube, as well as our many websites all year long. Retail-ready DVDs of the complete performances will be offered at a great price. Who I'd like to meet: Big Mama's is a family entertainment attraction located in Seymour, TN. Not only do we have a large menu selection and great karaoke performances, but we also have one of the hugest selections of karaoke CDs and equipment in the area (Chartbuster Karaoke). We specialize in booking private parties which can be scheduled during business hours (ask for Kristie or Joyce) or by contacting Dana King @ 865-577-5597 ext. 545. Karaoke stage performances are recorded to DVD and can be purchased at $10 a song. Our studio also has the capability of recording CDs of you singing your favorite songs for only $10 a song during retail hours. Thursday through Saturday Karaoke Performers take the stage!
