About me:
Leif Halvorson, age 54, died the fist of December 2007.
Leif was a remarkable man, A brilliant poet, scholar, anarchist, and thinker.
He had been called one of the greatest minds of our time, and was known as one of the men who changed the world as we know it.
Leif Grew up with many troubles laid on his plate from an early age, and he left home while still in his early teens.
He studied Buddhism seriously from a young age; opening his third eye while taking a bath i the later part of his teenage years.
He studied medicine under the man who was head medical doctor for the original mission to the moon, and studied philosophy, and literature with some of the greatest minds of this century. Joseph Campbell.
Leif studied many forms of healing arts, and was a diligent practitioner of Akido for many years.
More recently Leif Began to undertake a Deep study of homeopathy, and had made several discovery's into the nature of the human body and mind, that many would call revolutionary.
Leif had been Victim of a Hereditary Eyes disease that targets the cornea of the eye. He was clinically blind for several years, and was just starting to recover his sight with the help of corneal transplant surgery, when he passed. But one of his greatest wishes was to see his son, and his wife clearly once again, and thanks to several remarkable people, (among them Christopher hatch, and Dr Stephan McLeod),That wish was fulfilled before he died.
Just a few months before Leif died, he finally completed his poetry Chapbook "as if these things were true", his last great accomplishment.
What is written here is but a very small account of the things this brilliant man did in his 54 year on this planet, But at the very least it will shine light on just how extraordinary he really was.
