Esa has been playing through Koch heads and cabinets exclusively since ca. 2000 and I think it can be safely said that he was the first of the major Finnish metal guitarists to use and promote the brand. His current model (since summer 2006) is the Powertone II. For recording purposes, he sometimes also uses a Pedaltone. Update : Esa's main amp is now a Supernova (since june '08). He still uses the powertone II!
Nicola Fassi is formed as guitarist engaging in the study of the music in a 360 degrees way; some of the most important and qualified Italian musicians conduct him in the world of classical and modern harmony, improvisation, guitar, blues, rock, jazz and in the research of a personal style.
He played in Blues, Rock, Pop and Fusion Bands having hundreds of gigs ranging from Joe Satriani to Hendrix, from Robben Ford to Charlie Parker. He takes part in the poetry show of the writer Sandro Saffeni's cooperating with the Arpist Vincenzo Zitello. He takes also part in the show "Grease" of Lorella Cuccarini, as guitarist of the orchestra.
In 2001 he comes out with the release of debut album "Novenquarto" of the jazz-rock trio "The birds of fire". In 2004 "Fretessential" comes out, compilation edited from the Hapi Scratch Records and composed by tunes from guitarists from all over the world in which Nicola participates with the demo version of: "Rebel Hot". In 2007 Nicola Fassi comes out with the release of "In blue", his first solo album, edited by the Macrorec label.
The musician profession constantly sees him engaged in studio as guitarist and arranger to the service of the most varied productions: from jingles to movies sound-tracks. At the present time Nicola is a modern guitar, hermony and improvisation teacher in many Italian music schools.
Alex has been playing on a Multitone II head and 4x12 Cab since late 2006.
