Originality is relative. If you do something "rebellious," well guess what, so does a whole lot of other people. An artist creates from the mind and to make it visible to the outside world. So what if it's popular or unpopular. It's a sad day when people dislike or like a certain artist because of a reason that has nothing to do with the actual components of his or her musical products.
I don't put celebrities on a pedestal. I know that they are humans just like you and I. We are all human whether these people act like it or not.
I'm here to liberate the minds that are enslaved to what has been done over, and over, and over again. I'm the pro-expressionist that'll rip your cliches apart. I put this big ass roadblock on the original way.
My scars is just another reminder that I can't deny my past.
My coverup and makeup is just another reminder that I can move on.
My art is just another reminder that I can make a difference in the world.
My life is just another reminder that people tend to go along with what's going around them instead of questioning it.
THEY care because they feel like my opinions conflict to theirs and therefore feel like I'm personally attacking them when it's obvious that this is not the case. They feel threatened by new ideas or anything different from what everyone else talks about. I know first hand what it's like to be verbally abused and having trash thrown at me because, God forbid, I have an opinion. I live in America and this means that I have my first amendment rights just like everyone else in this country. You'd be committing unconstitutional acts if you dare to try taking away my natural rights from me.
Most people look pretty and worship celebrities. But its not going to happen unless you do something yourself.
[I don't expect you to agree with me.]
[I don't expect you to understand me.]
I don't expect everyone to stop and realize the mob mentality that goes on. I don't expect people to stop jumping on the bandwagon because everyone else is riding it. I can hope, but we all hope for something unrealistic, right?
"I often forget that most people care about others opinions, most care about approval, most put on a mask, and most don't embrace change. I've embraced change and things are going really great for me: I have amazing close friends with only one major drama issue that happened in the last three years, I have a wonderful boyfriend, and most of all, I have worked on my appearance to the look I would appreciate and I plan for what I want for myself. I wouldn't want things any other way but hopefully the future will bring great things."
