my name is dave, but some people call me ko - 'cuz of my last name... :-)
i am a musician, i live in los angeles, ca
i get asked quite often, "who do you work with?" so here's the cliff notes version. :-)
specifically, i am a "gun for hire" and i play keyboards (and really, really bad guitar). i work with many different artists and i've toured the world with countless others such as britney spears, jessica simpson and i've been musical director for the american idol tour for the past 4 years. i've played with chaka khan and been a member of the great george duke band (jazz fusion). done gigs with james ingram, peabo bryson, ll cool j and even did a gig with the late luther vandross. i'm also a writer/producer - my influences are all over the map but some my favorites are bt, andy page and norah jones.
i've posted some of my music for you to enjoy...the links are over there on the left <--------- under coincidentally, "music". some of the files are music only while the others are short movies i've done the music for. it's my dream to someday write music for picture be it tv or film, i've done a few projects and really want to persue that more in the future.
so...what else?
i love to mountain bike when i am not doing something musical, i am also an artist and i love to draw. early on, i made the choice that music would my life's work as i felt my efforts were best placed in one direction. i could have just as easily went with art, but i guess fate had other plans.

i also love anything "tech-ie", i enjoy working out - taking care of myself...you know, normal stuff. i guess i'm a pretty "normal" dood.
