The KOKR fest is the only music festival in czech republic who's dramaturgy is made only by skate-punk bands (pop-punk, punkrock, melodic HC, emo, ...). The 4th volume of KOKR fest will be realized on the 14th july 2008 in capital city of Czech republic - Prague, in open air club Modrá Vopice (Blue Monkey), with capacity about 800 visitors
Ze slunnych portugalskych plazi prichazeji Fonzie. Tenhle fenomen skate-punku patri mezi svetovou elitu a v domacim Portugalsku navstevnost jejich koncertu nejde pod nekolik tisic. Za sebou maji turne po celem svete po boku kapel jako Linkin Park, Midtown, Millencolin, Korn, Bar Religion, Pennywise a spoustou dalsich; vyslouzili si take 2 nominace na MTV European Music Award (2003, 2007); nyni prichazeji s novinkovym albem Shout It Out, ktere vychazi v celosvetovem nakladu.
From the sunny Portugal beach comes Fonzie. With tours and festivals all over the world, sharing stage with bands like Midtown, Pennywise, Millencolin, Linkin Park, Korn, Bad Religion and many more; with a nomination for an MTV European Music Award 2003; and with the new unbelievable album "SHOUT IT OUT".
Rentokill jsou klasici (a to nejen po ránu). Nekonecne tour, spacak na zemi místo pohodlných hotelových postelí, zaplivané squaty, malé kluby kde pot odkapává ze zdi, tam vsude jsou Rentokill doma. Jedna z mala kapel, ktera se snazí zit punkrock se vsim co k nemu patri. Texty nejsou jen nutností a hudba si nebere prilis servitky. Zbesile vpred 210 bpm na metronomu a k tomu vse co k radnemu hc/punk/rocku patri. Kdyz Propagandhi, Minor Threat, Bad Religion a NoFX prednaseli tak Rentokill sedeli v prvni lavici a pozorne poslouchali. Antichorus, jejich druha deska, je totiz znamenitou diplomovou praci v tomto oboru.
Rentokill are classics. The endless tour, sleeping bags on the floor instead of cozy hotel beds, filthy squats and small venues with sweat-soaked walls, all of this feels like home for Rentokill. They’re one of the few bands trying to live punk-rock with all it takes. The lyrics ain’t just necessity and music is outspoken. Furiously forward, 210 bpm on the metronome with all that proper hc/punk/rock requires. When Propagandhi, Minor Threat, Bad Religion and NoFX were giving lectures, Rentokill were sitting in the front bench paying attention closely. Their second full-length, Antichorus, is then outstanding dissertation in this field.
Tretim headlinerem KOKR FESTu je italska screamo smecka AIRWAY. Historie Airway sahá do roku 1999, kdy se po nezbytném pobytu ve zkušebne kapela zacíná prokousávat na výsluní hudebního sveta. Po lokálních úspeších a úcasti na nekolika kompilacích pricházejí koncerty s Vanilla Sky, Donots, Alexisonfire, atd.. V roce 2006 zacíná kvarteto pracovat na svém debutovém albu, se kterém se podílí i Brian z Vanilla Sky. Deska "Faded Lights" vychází v kvetnu 2007 a sklízí díky své pestrosti velice kladné reakce kritiky i fanoušku. Airway vyrážejí po boku amerických Movies with Heroes na celoevropské tour, díky kterému získávají zástupy fanoušku. S výrazným úspechem kapela vystoupila v lonském roce po boku The Used, Rise Against ci Aiden na TASTE OF CHAOS (Itálie).
