Saint Joseph, born and raised in North Denver, Colorado,
is a Hip-Hop/Hardcore Rap artist with west coast roots, and an east coast feel.
Saint is currently signed to indie label Deka Records for distribution, and uses
Dittomusic.com for a more broad spectrum of online distribution.
Saint's first album entitled Casket Mart has just been released
on Itunes and 200 other online retailers worldwide through Deka Records
as well as Dittomusic. Saint performs Regularly at Herb's on 21st and Larimer
on the last sunday of every month, the show is hosted by Cadava Records,
it is the longest running hip hop night in Denver 3 years strong.
Saint also does various venues when possible just to get heard.
Saint started out just freestyling with friends and family.
But when he began to evolve faster than the people around whom
he learned from, a decision whether or not to take music seriously Had to
be made.
It was west coast rap in the beginning. Brotha Lynch,
N.W.A., Snoop Dogg, Gangsta Pat, Thee 6 Mafia and others, then after
moving to Albuquerque in 10th grade, east coast music was introduced
to his ears, and that's when it got serious.
Big Pun, Wu-Tang, Big-L, Jay-Z, Nas, and all of the greats had class
in session for Saint.
The record label under Saints management is K.R.A.K Productions, which is
an extension of the crew K.R.A., it stands for Keep Reloading Ammo Krew.
It was formed over a decade ago, it started as a graffiti crew and evolved
from b-boying, Djing, and all the sports involved in hip-hop. Since then
K.R.A. has had members fall victim to incarceration, and also done a lot of
growing up, members starting families, which has forced the Krew into just
focusing on graffiti and music.
K.R. consists of several members, we won't name the graffiti members, but on the music side we have;
Saint, Synek, Erso, Dorian Gray, and Ebonics.
Casket Mart is just the beginning, the Mortuary Mixtape is on its way, as well as
Syneks solo album entitled Starting from Scratch, Erso's solo album, Dorian Gray's mixtape and Saint's second album, Broken Halo.
