The bittersweet and almost unnerving honesty of her writing is only strengthened in these performances leaving one, at times, breathless.

...Professional Jewish Female Musicians - and why this is not a contradiction in terms.
We, the Jewish women, we brought the instruments across the yam suf. We wrote the song of the sea and sang it. We were given the festival of the moon and we made each one a huge jam session!
Jewish music raises each soul up to a higher place where the confusion, pain and false gods of the secular world cannot get us
It is taught that every Jew has a corner of this world in need of his or her light and that we are to be a leading light to the world. For some this is done through music
I would love to help to bring back authentic Jewish women's music to the Jewish women's world. To inspire women who are truly talented to use the gifts Hashem gave them as a kiddush Hashem

Kol Isha singer songwriter Delia is living in London with her wonderful husband Ben and performs to women only audiences around the UK and Israel.
Soul music is her trademark, she moves audiences to tears with her pure sound and strikingly honest performance.
After 2 years on the live Jazz scene in London Delia studied Populr Music Performance before taking her own material onto the Acoustic London circuit for another 2 years. Her short album, Scarlit, was released in July 2006 and a self produced album SFIRAT came out in the summer of 2008. Delia is now working on a new album.
"I make music because it comes out of me, because it speaks where we cannot always."
MESSAGE FROM DELIA: "so woman, you find yourself awake at 2am because that guitar line has been going round your head all day and the words are clearly about to form into the most profound lyrics you've written to date, for sure, infact every piece of music you've ever heard sang or written was leading to this moment... lol x oh the joy of being a musician. i'll leave out the lows, there's just not enough room ;P f you sing/make music from somewhere inside that doesn't make sense to most other people, if you have to leave places early to find a piano to express how it feels right then, if when you perform you're just a little bit more alive, a little more connected.... call me! i know what you mean ;)
what drives me crazy is that there must be so many of you who are amazing, who send shivers when you start to sing - we, the women, in thought, in prayer, we who are connected so much more intrinsically to the inner, to the soul, our music is like the angels, our words are those of truth.
women, why aren't we performing for each other? making albums, jamming, writing...?!! make the difference.
coz, you know what, if He loves you then He gave you that fire to use, not to keep inside burning you up, kol isha only rules out 1/2 the population - there's still a whole load left! xx
email me... we should jam together x ;)
CREATING A VOICE first track - LIFT YOUR EYES performed to my backing track.... very odd harmonising with myself... ;P
CREATING A VOICE concert - track 3/3 - IN MY LIFE by the Beatles - with a bit of the shema added x
